Welcome to Hemet, California!

Located between the San Jacinto Mountains to the east and the Santa Ana Mountains to the west, Hemet is a growing city of over 60,000, with many attractions and opportunities for family fun. The Quality Inn Hemet Hotel is near Diamond Valley Lake, which is chock full of trout and bass and only 3 miles south, while Lake Perris is less than 20 miles to the north. For the kids, the Diamond Valley Lake Aquatic Center has a swimming pool and a pool house, with play gym and water slide. Our hotel is also near Mt. San Jacinto College, Soboda Indian Casino and Hemet Ryan Airport.

South of Diamond Valley lake lies the 13,000 acre Southwestern Riverside County Multi-Species Reserve, which is home to miles of trails, and is the habitat to several endangered or threatened native bird, animal and plant species.

One of the most unique features of the Hemet landscape is the Ramona Bowl. From its inception in 1923, the rustic outdoor amphitheater has become a landmark, drawing visitors from far and wide to see the popular Ramona Pageant. Adapted from the novel, “Ramona” by Helen Hunt Jackson, the play is held over three weekends in April and May and features over 400 local residents in its cast.
